Bermuda Triangle

The facts however are quite far from what is generally known or believed to be true. There are many stories and myths created through sheer imagination of writers who have used them rampantly to draw publicity to their books. In many cases, the facts got blurred.

Well, I have been digging deep into the incidents, and analyzing the facts and evidences to bring out the truth. So where is Bermuda Triangle located and how large is the area? Is there a map? And do you get to know when exactly you cross the line and enter the area?

Bermuda Map

By the simplest of all definitions, Bermuda Triangle is located off the South-Eastern coast of the United States and in the Atlantic Ocean. The three corners of the triangle are: Miami (Florida); San Juan (Puerto Rico); and Bermuda (the north-Atlantic island). The accidents have mostly taken place near the southern boundary of the triangle between Florida and Puerto Rico. You can always argue that's obvious because that's where the area of the triangle is widest and therefore such possibilities should be more anyway!

Lost Plane and Ship

Here are some of the most amazing stories of planes and ships that disappeared while crossing the triangle area. As you visit the links, you will also see my findings behind such great mysteries of all times.

Flight 19: The Avenger planes of Flight-19 took off from the U.S Naval Base of Florida for a routine training session, but never returned.

PBM Martin Mariner: When the hopes for Flight-19 was quickly fading, two Martin Mariner planes were sent by US Navy to search them out. One came back, but strangely the other didn't. Read the full story.

Tudor Star Tiger: Star Tiger, a Tudor Mark-IV aircraft disappeared in Bermuda Triangle shortly before it was about to land at the Bermuda airport.

Fight DC-3: The flight DC-3 NC16002 disappeared when it was only 50 miles south of Florida and about to land in Miami.

Flight 441: The flight 441, a Super Constellation Naval Airliner disappeared in October 1954.

C-54 Skymaster: Apparently it seemed to be a sudden thunderstorm that had disintegrated the plane. But there was much more to the story.

Mary Celeste: - The Ghost Ship: Known as one of the ghost ships of Bermuda Triangle, Mary Celeste had many misadventures even before her mystery voyage in 1872. Find out the full story.

Marine Sulphur Queen: This 524-foot carrier of molten sulphur started sail on Feb 2, 1963 from Beaumont, Texas with 39 crew. It was reported lost in Florida Straits on February 4.

Ellen Austin: The Ellen Austin, an American schooner, met with another ship in Bermuda Triangle. The other ship that was moving in full speed, strangely had nobody on board.

USS Cyclops: Disappearance of the carrier ship U.S.S. Cyclops in Bermuda Triangle has been one of the greatest mysteries of the sea.

USS Scorpion: USS Scorpion (SSN-589) was a Nuclear powered submarine of United States Navy that disappeared in Bermuda Triangle area in May 1968.

          Explanation of some sources

So what caused the ships and aircraft to disappear mysteriously? There have been many research and explorations done to uncover the mystery. There is no single theory that can explain all the incidents. The ships and aircraft have been victims of different circumstances and situations. Things happened very quickly and unexpectedly. While many theories have come out, there are few that come close to solving the Bermuda Triangle Mystery.

Methane Gas: Are trapped under the sea floor can erupt, as a result can lower the water density and cause ships to sink. Even planes flying over it, can catch fire and get completely destroyed during such gas blowout.

Electronic fog: a strange thick cloud appears from nowhere and engulfs a ship or a plane. Instruments begin to malfunction, and finally the ship or the aircraft vanishes without a trace.

Sargasso sea: is a strange area that has no shores and bounded only by water currents on all sides. The ships passing through it have been stranded and made motionless.

Compass variation:Do you know that magnetic and absolute North are not the same. Which means that the north where a compass points and the absolute geographic north which is the north pole are different. So ships need to make adjustment for this difference to keep to the right direction.

Gulf stream: is an ocean current that originates in the Gulf of Mexico, and then moves through the Straits of Florida, into the North Atlantic. It is like a river within an ocean and can carry floating objects. A small plane making a water landing or a boat having engine trouble will be easily carried away. It happened to the cabin cruiser Witchcraft on December 22, 1967, when it reported engine trouble near the Miami buoy marker one mile from shore, but was not there when a Coast Guard cutter arrived.

Strange Weather: At times there are violent storms in the Bermuda Triangle area. These short but intense storms can build up quickly and go away so fast that even a satellite can't detect them properly. But these storms are strong enough to destroy ships or planes completely. There are also waterspouts seen in this area. A waterspout is like a tornado at sea that sucks water from the ocean thousands of feet into the sky.

Freak Waves:
Very large waves can appear suddenly even in calm seas. One such rogue wave caused theOcean Ranger, then the world's largest offshore platform to capsize in 1982. Research has shown that freak waves up to 30m high & capable of sinking a large ship within moments, can and do happen. Although these are very rare, in some areas ocean currents indicate that they happen more often than normal.

Hurricanes: are extremely powerful storms that sometimes appear in the Atlantic near the equator. Such hurricanes have historically been the cause for thousands of lives lost and billions of dollars of damage. The sinking of Francisco de Bobadilla's Spanish fleet in 1502 was the first recorded instance of such destructive hurricane. These storms have in the past caused a number of incidents related to the Bermuda Triangle.

Unusual Seafloor:The seafloor in Bermuda Triangle area is also found to be quite strange. There are some unusual formations. From a gentle slope it takes a sudden deep drop. In fact, some of the deepest trenches in the world are found in this area. Ships or planes that sink into these deep trenches will probably never be found.

Supernatural Theories: Check out Supernatural Theories to know about such explanations that try to solve the Bermuda Triangle Mystery. Supernatural Theories Check out Supernatural Theories to know about such explanations that try to solve the Bermuda Triangle Mystery.

Skeptic's Theoris: And like in any other subject, there are skeptics and critics here as well who do not believe that Bermuda Triangle area has any mystery to be solved at all. They say there is nothing unusual about all these disappearances and they can all be explained with science or some logic. Check out the Skeptics Theory to find out what the skeptics of Bermuda Triangle have to say to solve the mysteries.

Whirlpool: Although not too impressive as a whirlpool in the Sargasso Sea. But the sailors know about the amazing phenomenon of vortex type. Whirlpools this happens twice a day, in the northwestern part of the Norwegian Sea The word 'Maelstrom' popularized by Edgar Alan Poe. Maelstrom is a rotating water strong and big. Surface water from the vortex little short tens of meters above sea level. Its strength dozens of times the normal flow.

Gravitation: Gravity and its relationship to what happens in the Bermuda Triangle; actual compass and other electronic navigation equipment in aircraft while flying over the Bermuda Triangle will be shaken and moved not normal, as well as the compass on the ship, which showed surprisingly strong magnetism and gravity the reverse.

Base U.F.O. : Government and Independent Academic A.S. said the Bermuda Triangle because it is a base where a group of sentient extraterrestrial UFO / alien who does not want disturbed by humans, so that any vehicle passing through the territory will be exploited and abducted. Some say that the cause is because of the greatest sources of magnets embedded in the earth beneath the Bermuda Triangle, so the metal tons tonpun be interested into.

Wormholes: In history, people, ships, aircraft and so forth that mysteriously disappeared as we often hear in the waters of the Bermuda Triangle, is actually enter into this mysterious time tunnel.
An American scientist named Ado Snandick argued, the human eye can not see the presence of an object in another room, that's the objective existence of the passage of time.
In investigations into the hall, John Buckally a theory hypothesis as follows:
Hall where Objectivity is both kematerialan, not seen, can not be touched, closed to the mundane world of human life, but not absolute, because sometimes he'll get it.
Hall with the human world is not a system of time, after entering the set system time, there is the possibility of returning to the very distant past, or into the future, because in the time tunnel, time can be unidirectional or opposite direction, can move straight too can be turned around, and even frozen.
Against the mortal world on earth, if it enters the hall, then mysteriously disappeared, and if out of the hall, then the meaning is mysteriously reappeared.
Due to passage of time and the earth is not a system of time, and because time can be frozen, so although it has been missing for 3 years, 5 years, even 30 or 50 years, the same time as one or half a day.
Although several theories thrown, but no satisfactory because the emergence of such additional foreign objects that surround aircraft shine before lost contact with the control tower and the plane disappeared.
